    Absolutely sick, reminds me of when I was at a light and a guy pulled up to me and asked if I could "2 step". I think I got the idea and gave him what he wanted. 6000 RPMs forever!

    I hope he is running some sort of cut out system because that little muffler is probably giving him the worst airflow possible.

    smaller exhaust is more responsive. 500hp is not alot either. if it were 800, a bigger exhaust would be required

    By the sounds of it, it's pretty much a sure thing that he's running a straight-pipe. In cars making this kind of power, the more important section of the exhaust is the downpipe; the muffler doesn't have that much effect on performance.

    Yup, at those power levels, post-downpipe exhaust size does not significantly affect performance (relatively speaking of course; a stock diameter exhaust isn't ideal either). Now a 1,000hp Supra with a gigantic turbo is a different story.
    yepp. 1000 rwhp supra usually in the 95 mm up range in diameter with 4 inch + downpipe. a 500hp subie? nah

    2 step is what we refer to as ''launch control'' on COBB equipped subaru's.
