Most cars lose between 20-30% of it's power by the time it hits the ground. I used to wreck 700HP cars with my 69 Camaro SS because it was 540HP with 488RWHP. The power needs to get to the ground...

It's aerodynamics are ridiculous for a car it's size. The '13 has a drag coefficient of .26 which is lower than most all current supercars.

I've spent a bit of time in wind tunnels over the years. One thing I've learned, don't trust the published Cd number! The naked number by itself, without knowing which type of wind tunnel was used or even which exact tunnel and which test method, is not easily comparable. It's like comparing horsepower numbers on roller dynos with hub dynos. Besides, it's (Cd * A) that counts. A larger vehicle with the same Cd as a smaller vehicle will create more drag.

If anyone saw the Jeremy Clarkson Powered Up DVD, he puts the GTR and the MP4-12C against each other to test the launch control.
It was 16.5 meter race and the AWD GTR with 530hp beat the MP4-12C with 590hp off the line.2010 Nissan GT-R Pearl White/Black
