I've been in a friends heavily modified evo8 and the thing that always blows my mind in the speed that you can go around corners in these cars. Totally unfathomable corning speeds.

Super cars are super cars off the showroom floor. You can't turn a car into a super car.

I spent A LOT of time and money building my own evo 8 but all they're really good at is being quick. They're rough riding, loud, cheap quality interior, not very good looking, and sound pretty awful until you throw a big single on them (35R+). I ended up selling mine for a modded 08 C6 and never looked back. Something as simple as a corvette is still leagues beyond an Evo in almost every way. Compared to real supercars like Ferrari, Lambo, Aston Martin, Maserati, LFA, etc.. they're massive piles of junk. I actually feel sorry for people anymore who spend all this time and money trying to make normal cars something they're not when they could have just bought something way nicer and just about as fast in stock form with a warranty.

To each his own. Everyone knows it's not a supercar except for that one guy! Fast cars are fast cars, whether it be an Evo or a Lambo, we all still enjoy driving or riding in a fast car! Luxury is just a bonus for guys fortunate enough to drive actual supercars. When it comes to build quality from factory, a lot of cars lack in that department cause of the purpose they were intended for. Most race inspired vehicles have poor interior cause the cost overview of that vehicle was very tight due to more key characteristics like engine, drivetrain and aerodynamics. I've owned a ton of vehicles with a 750hp Evo being my current daily. I think maintenance and care for the car makes any car last. No issues on my car except for changing clutches every 5k-8k miles! I race a lot. I've also owned a Vette, Viper, Supra and currently a GTR. All those interiors suck IMO, but I didn't buy it for that. Out of all the cars, the Evo was the cheapest to maintain and build. Just my $.02
