Personally I wouldn't weld on a lip for the wheel. I am no expert or anything though. If you have the money go with a wheel where you can get the lip you desire.

    Ex: HRE, ADV.1, etc.

here i know people who do this:

    1. take wheels as donors then cut lip
    2. then weld on mine then calibrating and fixing from welding them to go straight when they spin.

thats all. answer why not get adv.1 coz already bought these advan kreuzer V that no longer making and problem that yokohama not done then with lips choise.

with lip car gonna look very agreesive only im affraid ad asking if wheels after all this not became very weak

Can it be done, yes- is it going to cost you what it would to purchase a new set of wheels would cost yes and then some. The wheel you have selected has not been designed for a lip, the whole wheel will have to be redesigned, then labor, then refinishing...

What type of metal is the wheels you posted above made in, that might answer your question right away...

AND you will now be using a non-dot, non-tested wheel on a high performance vehicle. Who knows if the design will hold up to the forces that are applied.

In the end (and in my opinion), it's just not worth it versus finding a better built wheel.

these wheels costed me 3400$ with shipping.

if i add lip and everything with work and etc 4 wheels cost me 500-700$ for everything and adv.1 cost 6000$ that i can not afford and not want hasless selling then buying new things.

i need information or advise after attaching lip how after weld wheels go on - strong or weak side. stability. centric things do workers after weld.

If you want a 5 spoke rim with a lip, sell the ones you have and buy 5 spoke rims with a lip.

Again, what metal is the wheel made from? Steel wheels might cost $125/wheel to weld but I would never EVER trust anyone who quoted me that price for an alum or alloy wheel.

How much is it going to cost you to recoat/refinish your wheels?
