Arrow My NEW CLASSIC IMPORT - Project Phoenix - SSC

I've always wanted one, and now I got one. Been searching for a while, and I got one better than I expected, picked it up from sunny Santa Cruz and drove it home an hr away. 1969 Datsun 510. All original paint, interior, motor, trans, etc. This car is like a time machine, with only 56000 miles on the working odometer. Here it is. My plans are to revitalize the interior, paint, chrome etc, but not replacing anything. Keeping the original parts, paint, etc is essential. I want to wrap it but I'm so afraid to do anything to the stock paint. In the end I want to throw some ganster white walls on and throw a vintage style roof rack and call it done Let's see how this goes. Thanks for looking!

It's only fair to name the car Phoenix, as I am rising this Japanese classic from the ashes so to speak, just like the courageous people of Japan are rising from the ashes right now. I think I would like to commemorate this build to the victims of the Japan Quake.

Yeh, thats where she was stationed. I picked her up right around the area where these photos were taken. Santa Cruz is beautiful.

I'll bring her out to SR once she's done, give me a couple of weeks
