Why do they care so much about imported cars? Don't they have bigger problems to worry about? Maybe people in the government are jealous and want a skyline of there own.

woah woah woah first off. Theyr definately legal because they have to meet safety standards in U.S to be registered and what not. Second off i think thats a bullshit story , the car was probaly repoed' or seized because of something illegal the owner did . not cuz it bares the name " Skyline" . If you have the $ for a skyline your not going to settle for nothing less.
