    Default No More Mitsu Evo?

Looks like Mitsubishi is stopping the production of the EVO to refocud the company on the EV / Hybrid market...

    Thoughts?

The only car company I know that is taking an active approach to this is Porsche. They are making high end sports car that are incorporating Hybrid technology.

I wonder though if Mitsu has any plans for such a vehicle? A hybrid Evo? interesting...

rumor has it, that the next EVO will be a HYBRID...as long as the performance is still there, then i dont see anything wrong with it

SUBARU still makes WRX...well, they are always behind in technology so i guess

There will be no new evo and based on the autoblog/autocar report, the company is planning to shift all their resources to making everything in lineup hybrid or powered by alternative energy, which is fine. The problem is the CEO has declared that they have no intention of building a hybrid sports car in the future at all. This will probably kill the brand here in the US and force them to pull out of the market.

The Lancer is already an under performing and lackluster car anyway.

Glad i bought my evo when i did hopefully the evo's aftermarket will be as booming as the supra aftermarket i can see it being that way.

I don't like Mitsubishi as a company anyway i bought an Evo not a Mitsubishi.
