When I saw it in person, it looked pretty decent in silver, but in no way did it look like $400K. As for the sound, believe it or not its extremely quiet. The owner of the LFA got on it pretty hard as he was leaving and to be completely honest, it sounds like a bee buzzing away- quietly. Sure, an aftermarket exhaust can be put on the car but the exhaust was/is one of Toyota's proudest selling points and you mean to tell me that after I drop $400K on the car, I have to change the exhaust as well?! Dumping more money into an already overpriced car, no thanks.
They can keep it. Base price on the new LP700/Murcielago replacement is $376K- cheaper than the LFA and will look, feel, and perform worth every cent. Add a few options just to match the price of the LFA and then you're really sitting pretty
He must not have been on it all the way then....I was witness to one being thrown into turns by Justin Bell at Monticello Motor Park. I thought it sounded incredible on the straight.
