    Never seen this before. Not sure what to think of it. Was this offered standard or is it a mod?

    never liked that body style. looks better in drop top though. it is aftermarket.

    custom, factory verts were within the last 7 years of the previous model. JZ330 chassis were all hard top with sun roof

    Toyota Soarer's Base
    1JZGE non turbo - 5speed or auto
    1JZGTE 2.5 I-6 Twin turbo - super rare 5speed factory.

    USA spec cars
    3.0 2jzge non turbo - auto and very rare 5speed
    4.0 V8 1uzfe - Auto only

    That is custom, it came up a long time ago on CL. It also has a supercharged V8 if my memory serves me right!
