Thread: New member here [was not sure where to post!]

Hello everyone.
My name is Jeff, but nearly everyone calls me Tofu.
I'm 22, going on 23 and I reside in the Chicago suburbs. I work downtown as a mortgage broker as well as a property investor.
I currently drive a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe with some modifications done to it. I recently picked up a small bike to get my feet wet for a new type of toy.

I'm currently engaged and my fiancee lives in Madison, Wisconsin. We've had 6 and a half wonderful years together and once she finishes school that is when we will plan our wedding and the like.

I came across the forum here from g35driver.com and was looking at the thread on the amazing garages, pretty impressive.

Tons more to say but not sure where it will end. Anything else you'd like to ask or inquire, feel free to do so.

I purchased an 08 ninja 250r with 1000 on it, mint, for 2600 locally
Got a good deal on it. runs perfect.

I hope to take it out this spring, gets much better gas mileage than my G35 (13mpg as of my current setup), I hope to get a new tune with it so I can stop running my 93/103 octane mix.

thats a great bike...real fun at the track too. teaches you how to carry cornerspeed. I did a few trackdays on my buddies....was badass.

welcome... nice ride, whats the current mods on the g35?

nismo catback (soon selling it for fast intentions td), revup airbox, forged performance valve body ugprade, plenum spacer, ground kit (if that's really a mod), msd ignition, z tube, resonated test pipes, HR y pipe, osiris tune..

Have misc. things such as as oem z spring drop, modified oem grill integrated into aftermarket giala grill, forged 19" ro_ja r2-7's (discontinued wheels) w/rear fenders rolled, jdm clears, full front clear bra [hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors, headlights], one off +ings front lip, matte black ravspec rear diffuser, custom one-off true skyline tail light modification, hardwired valentine radar, APR convex mirrors, tints, pioneer z2 w/lojack integration.. white l.e.d. lighting on most exterior locations..

Soon to be put on is the new exhaust setup, possibly motordyne custom test pipes, procharger, supporting modifications, and new tune. Maybe some new wheels and coilovers.

There's a few more mods here and there but these are just off the top of my head..
Too many things to do but I may take a small break from it for now. Have to do a little more research now as well..
