there is one in our little town on 1.1 million...
they are rare in some frame of reference.

Yeah I really blame L4P and the internet in general to desensitizing me to exotics. Back when the only exotics I ever saw were in magazines, I used to freak out when I saw one in real life. Exotics are still pretty rare here but I have seen an enzo and F40 and it wasn't quite the experience I expected. I would like to own a Ferrari or Lambo just once in my life though, just to see people trying to break their necks to look at it. That among other reasons, obviously.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day about this topic. All our friends have exotics, and we see them all the time. To the point that they seem normal. To stay on topic, when I had my car worked this last Saturday, two GTR owners that I know stopped by the shop because they were in the area (leaving Cars & Coffee). Are they rare? Yes. But not if you run in the right circles.
My point: L4P is "running in the right circles".
