    Default Turbo Impreza?

Alright. Feel free to delete this if it's in the wrong or whatnot. Buddy of mine picked up a 2.5i Impreza Wagon (2009) a few weeks ago, and he's looking about for a turbo to toss on it. It's going to be his autoX car, and I'd like to help him out. Do any of you know any sites that sell turbo's for the 2.5s? Any of you know anyone who's done it? Any advice would be awesome. I found some on Turbo-Kits.com, but that site just looks a bit shifty. Aiming for brand name, preferably, or at least reliable names. Thanks in advance.

How come he didn't just pick up a WRX? After spending the money to put a turbo kit on the 2.5, he just aobut up in the same price range....

Thanks, guys. Just in Time, how difficult is it to work a turbo in there? SupraMan, that's why he went with the 2.5. I too have heard that when done properly, the turbo'd 2.5's are truly beasts.

It can be done, your going to throw as much money in that project as anything else... there are a few good sites, good forums also. Nasioc.com

Not worth the time/money/headaches associated with the transformation. Plus power output wont be great at all.

Tell him to sell the car and purchase a used WRX.

+2 Cheaper and more problem free if you just buy a used STI (or 06 up WRX as its a 2.5) motor to swap in there, as you will have to change EVERYTHING about the RS motor
