But I have just come across the Infiniti Q60 concept due out next year. I am really liking it, but the quilted leather better be an option on the production version. I have been thinking about getting a new car next year, and Ford have finally decided to bring us the Mustang, however the wait list is already like 12 months (Yet GM still don't think they have a strong enough business case to bring us the Camaro :( ). Anyway, does anyone have any opinions on this? or even on Infiniti as a brand (They are pretty new players here)

The G37 (now replaced by Q50) was their strongest product and solid offering which was seen as the Japanese 3 series.
There have been reports of poor QA on the Q50 with the Direct Adaptive Steering failing and having zero steering feel - I don't know if it has been fully addressed. The media interface in the Q50 also suffered serious lag issues and was panned by quite a few reviews as half baked and needed more "baking time" in QA aspects.

The G37 coupe was (and still is) quite nice for the money although it had an incredibly cramped trunk.

Reliability was their trump card that may have swayed some former BMW customers tired of HPFP issues with Nissan's more solid VQ37VHR engine.

They do focus more on bang for your buck for value driven entry level luxury seekers.
