I got sick of my GT-R too so, I sent it to AMS for bigger snails. It should suffice for a few more months.

One reason folks get bored with their performance oriented car is that they don't track them to get the most out of them. On the track you soon learn you're not as good as you think you are.

My roommate has a GT-R, and I've spent a few hours behind the wheel. I didn't like it at all when I was driving it in auto mode. Once I switched over to manual mode I started having a lot more fun.

The fit and finish of it is fine, imo. Not as high end as my Benz, of course, but I wouldn't want it to be. I do like the materials they use. The Recaros are decent but not for long drives (he has a black edition).

The way I see it is, I didn't even drive my 350z to its full potential when I had it. Anything faster isn't really going to make a difference for a guy like me.

Oh, one of my best friends has an e92 m3, as well. Compared to the GTR it isn't as fast, but its still a beast. I would argue that it handles better, and of course has higher end materials and fit/finish. That's not to say the GTR is low quality by any means.

I agree with MazzaFiveOneFour, I've had both a GTR and GT3. I sold my GT3 for a GTR. It did feel like a downgrade in terms of thrills. However if i had bought the GTR first i think i would have loved it, but the fact i had the GT3 first meant the GTR was not as raw as i was used to. So if you do get bored of the GTR, a GT3 would be a very good replacement for it.

I recently traded in my GTR for a Lamborghini Superleggera, and not looked back. Best car i've owned so far.

Feel free to PM me if your wanting more information about the GTR's.
