    Default Subaru BRZ STi Conceptcar

Last saturday I filmed the unique Subaru BRZ STi Conceptcar in The Netherlands. This is a one-off without interior and engine, and purely a showmodel to give people an impression of what this car might look like in the future! What do you think of it? Personally I love it and I hope Subaru has the guts to produce the car exactly this way!

Like the Nürburgring? Then like this!

I love it minus the wing and lack of turbo. I'd like to see a nice little lip spoiler on the back, with a 3 liter twin turbo The first part is definitely do'able, the second I'll just keep dreaming.

I love them, if only they had a more powerful model (as stated before)

Looks sharp, but I'm not sure we'll ever see one with a turbo. Re-engineering the chassis and suspension for the additional power would be expensive and the cost is generally passed on to the consumer unfortunately. I don't think enough people would be willing to pay big bucks for a turbo version, so Subaru wouldn't have much reason to OK it for production.

the large wing makes it looks weird. its already sleek and smooth, I wonder it might resemble a how a fairlady would looks with a wing

I agree we'll not see a turbo'd one from the factory.

Its not the point of the car to be RWD STI. It was built to be lightweight, nimble and in the Scion's case, inexpensive- a la the Miata.

I'd buy it exactly as it stands in a heartbeat if we had room for 3 cars.

    This.

If it ain't "wrong", don't fix it.

I do want AWD and 4 doors for practicality though - Oh an STI! This would be an awesome 2nd whip.
