    Default Painting: Zonda Cinque

***Well i got frustrated with this piece and finally had some time to work on stuff besides schoolwork this weekend so I painted over it. I just wasn't feeling the Zonda piece. Thanks to Keuster for the avatar and it's what inspired me to start this one. I did a big Reventon piece about 2 years ago and it was my favorite and regret selling it so I wanted to get this out of my system. Here it is so far, still working on it heavily. Basically painted with the tubes w/brush tips that are seen in the bottom of the picture.

Start off by saying I'm in a little over my head here with this piece I've been pretty sick the last month or two and haven't really been painting but lately things have been looking up and I'm starting some projects again. This canvas was hanging in my kitchen and I hated everything I've painted on it so it's been just a red canvas for about a month. I haven't drawn a car in years let alone painted a full view of one. Sooo, what better way to start then with the Cinque. I'll post with updates unless I end up lighting it on fire and throwing it out the window into the pool

Yes, the headlights are off a little(not final) and the lower front needs some tweaking but bear with me. Any suggestions for a minimal background?

    Update 1: Black background

Update 2: Added a background, laying down color and shapes. Can now start to go in and fine tune the lines and add detail.

layering up some paint and trying to get a certain "look". Not satisfied but it's still just the beginning.

Awesome! If I had tons of cash, I'd pay you to paint portraits my super cars. (that I don't own yet.) :/ Very cool painting.
