    Default Poem I wrote

    Internally

As I walk among the wooden floors with a cold shiver,
The emotions are not the same, as my heart pumps with worries.
Anxiety and fear drill thru the tunnels of these veins,
Stalled mentally with a loss for words.
I enter the bathroom then glance at the open window, the cold winds glide across my chest
And aggresively escape off the skin of my upper torso.
Im cold, but i feel as if the chilled winds find entrance to my heart building tenze emotions.
I get undressed, then proceed to let turn the faucet....the knobs are cold too.
I sit myself in the tub and shut my eyes, feeling as if im going to cry but,
The only liquid running across my cheeks,Are the waters which beat against my face exiting the holes of the shower head....
    the water pressure is low.
My tears are held in the tissues of my eye socket.
There is no clear explaination to clarify this sudden depression.
It's been like this for a couple of days, I was told that happiness was on the way.
Yet, I carry a burden of considerable pain.
Why dont these tears just leave?
    I think it's stuck, no...that's not it.
    Im shedding tears internally.

I like, the last line hooked me; though I don't find comfort in darkness to fully appreciate the rest. Very brave of you to share, thank you.
