Artistic Collaboration - MAC and artist Rashaad Newsome
After 20 years providing the very finest in collision repair and staying truly dedicated to the artistry of our craft, Martino Auto Concepts and MAC Auto Couture have now been recognized... by the art world.
MAC was sought out by world renowned modern artist Rashaad Newsome to do a collaboration of epic proportions for his newest exhibition- Honarable Ordinaries, on display in the Ramis Barquet Gallery NYC now through December 18th 2010.
The exhibition centerpiece were two large 17th century French neoclassical picture frames displaying Mr. Newsome’s artwork. MAC was commissioned to custom paint these frames and, if I do say myself, the results were spectacular.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I’ll let these speak for themselves:

It was a very exciting project. After seeing Rashaad's work revolved around Exotic autos's & Bling Bling I new we were going to rock the art world! I personally matched all colors to his artwork and spent over 100 hours airbrushing these highly detailed frames. I was running 3-4 airbrushes/mini jets at all times bringing these frames alive with at least a dozen Candy colors, Metalflakes & Big flake additives. I look forward to work with Rashaad on future projects... Stay Tuned.
