Speaking of life imitating art... Here's a couple more projects that have made it from drawing board to street/show floor...
The 2010 Amsoil/Street Rodder Road Tour Car, built by the incredibly talented Zane and his crew at Cotati Speed Shop:

... a '52 Buick named "Resilience", built by my pal Tim at Strange Motion... the car scooped a ton of awards, including the Eldon Titus Memorial Design Award... it'll be in Long Beach later this month at the Motorama:

Thanks, man! Wow... almost forgot about this thread...
All of the work above was Illustrator (starting with pencil sketches on paper). Speaking of pencil sketches, if you'd like, I created and posted a tutorial on drawing here on my site: Tutorial: How to draw a hot rod The upcoming tutorials will get more into the digital side of things. (they'll all be part of my book)
