Just picked up an e-book reader...
And it is awesome. I was torn by the market prices where they were $300ish (CAD) which made me consider all kinds of other options like the iPad/Tablet PC's/Netbooks up until this guy came out.
$150 Canadian for a Kobo e-reader. A little more bare bones then a Kindle or Nook but it's a huge bang for the buck and all I need it for. E-ink is crazy cool and it'll pull me from my computer where I get uncomfortable reading for long hours and already spend far too much time.
I have a bunch of PDF files (mostly textbooks/non-fiction) I was going to have bound into books which would cost around $25 for a nice job and now I can take my library anywhere, synce it with my blackberry/computer. Pretty sick. Preloaded with 100 classics too!

They come in white too, but I waited it out for the black one. (Sorry for the huge image but it's all I could find)

Well, the price is good, for what it is at least. I just think it's be better spending more for a basic iPad and enjoy it for the reader, plus everything else it can do. You know?

Trust me, I have alot of them too.

I just happened to have a million pdf files of textbooks that I have acquired and didn`t want to sit in front of a monitor at my computer more than I already do. And at about $25 a pop to get them bound this puppy will pay for itself in 6 books. I`m happy.Last edited by lifeoftheparty.; 05-08-2010 at 11:51 PM.
