Currently on this one, The Crack in the Cosmic Egg by Joseph Chilton Pearce. Just started it, seems to focus mostly on metaphysics. Just finished The Millionaires of Genesis by Catherine Ponder, The Wheel of Time by Carlos Castanada. A good funny and quick read is The Truth about Chuck Norris-400 Facts about the World's Greatest Human by Ian Spector.

Russian Criminal Tattoo Vol 3 - absolutely amazing stuff, not for anyone that might take offense to extreme prejudice or sexism. the book just shows drawings that a prison guard made of the tattoos he saw pass through the system. the visual language and symbolism are rich in meaning. i have never seen anything with such a vile and pessimistic view of life; and i find this completely fascinating. definitely not for everyone.
the 3rd volume is the last and if you think you're interested, BUY IT NOW. Vol 1 sells for $300+, Vol 2 $150+, and Vol 3 will follow soon - limited print runs. I've got my collection
Amazon.com: Russian Criminal Tattoo Encyclopaedia Volume III: Danzig Baldaev, Damon Murray, Stephen Sorrell, Sergei Vasiliev: Books

John Adams - the HBO min-series was incredible and the book is even better. although much of our history is taken for granted, the group of men who founded our country were truly revolutionary, and Adams, despite what we learned in school, was perhaps the most learned and accomplished of them all.
this story is truly inspirational - a very intelligent man, from very ordinary means, who rose to one of the great figures of history.

3/4 of the way through Roger Moore's "Word is my Bond". If you grew up in the '80's it's a must read, very well told, definatley in his own words and makes you feel like you're just sitting there having a conversation with him.
