recent pick-ups
My wife and I have been trying to fill our home with original works by local/regional artists. We try to stay $1k and under so we can buy a piece every few weeks. Here are some recent buys:
"Jazz Break" clay sculpture in a shadow box by Elliott Hubbard from the ATL area. ElliottHubbard

abstract by a local artist whose name I can't recall goes by "liquid art"

"Directional Light" and Integrated Light" by sculptor Michael Eddy. He works with countertop grade concrete with stained glass and mirror. Truly original and awesome stuff. You can look at these pieces at any angle and see something different. I am thinking of commissioning a large piece from him. Michael Eddy Check his work out!
