Got A Special Place In My Heart for art. Sold a watch to get this
But its a master piece, the build up of color is brilliant.

What I like about paintings like this is that you can distinguish the strokes in the painting from any distance. Every brush stroke points you in a different direction.
Now, a question of etiquette - as I pass, do I give you the ass or the crotch?

RAW, Beautiful piece of art. It's up to one's interpretation I guess. I want to believe something blue shot out from that "cannon" like object and swirled upwards...or I could be nuts?

Great piece, I have been around art most of my life so can respect it how you do.
What are the dimensions of this painting, and do you mind me asking which watch you gave up for it?
Feel free to share any of your other paintings as well, I would like to see them.

It's obviously a picture of a yellow dog laying on a yellow couch, reading a green book. Not sure why there is a Bunsen burner with a flame in the foreground sitting on the coffee table beside a piece of mail, but that's why it's art!
I have a sort of similar piece (you can see part of it in my avatar), though there is an obvious bird in mine. I spent a chunk of a small inheritance on it when my mom died, but she would have approved, and she would approve of this one as well. She used to run an art gallery and shared your passion for art.
That reminds me, I really need to get the art rider on my insurance policy updated...Last edited by Bacchus; 08-20-2009 at 03:52 PM.
