: tattoo thread :

I've been reading this site for a while, and this seemed to be the ideal topic for my first post. I'm from Belgium and my first tattoo was done by the american black & grey master Jose Lopez. It is a detail of the Pieta statue by Michelangelo, check it out:

Tonight i'm off to Rome to get my other side done by Jose, which will be a detail of the famous greek statue Laocoon.

Don't know if you guys appreciate this, let me know!

I had it done at the London Tattoo Convention so the crowd got my attention off of the pain... until I was about 6h into it

. It was literally a "No pain, no gain" type of situation.

fck that girl!!! was most likely fcked up on some drugs. and how wouldnt you wake up.. i have many tattoos and i'd say that it would be a little tough to sleep through that

Nice piece! I am going in about 2 weeks to get my first tattoo's. I am getting sleeved on both arms with the same work my buddy who passed away had. Kinda nervous and excited at the same time. I know it may sound weird but any advise for a first timer?
