Thread: Avatar Help....

How does everyone make their avatar's? Mine are turning out small and distorted and I'm using PS CS2. Suggestions??

When you make a new picture, these are the max dimensions you can use:
Width: 350px
Height: 150px

You are most likely trying to make a big picture your avatar but the forum automatically scales it down.

Thanks Carbon it was getting frustrating. Usually pretty good at stuff like this but couldn't figure it out.

...It´s actually
Width: 350px
Height:115px

I worked ok on mine, but had problems in keep the quality that I see most of the members here have on their avatars.
..The forums was reducing too drastically the quality of the pic, and the solution I came across it was saving it as a GIF instead of JPEG.


I hope it works well now, but I´ll probably make other avatars too, just for the kicks, and to change a little bit mine.
