I'd honestly just rather take the Hayabusa.

Agree completely. The bike probably makes more grip, and I don't think you'd be all that much safer in the car if you crashed.
Madness takes a toll. Please have exact change...

Well I think you are. The Hayabusa is a Monster of a bike, no question but look at this:

I agree. The functionality of the doors shows how little the body deformed in this collision. I sort of hoped that Tiff was going to crash it himself

The problem with the smart crashing, even though most of the inner cell is contained, is that when your body is moving at 70mph and you go from that to a dead stop, everything inside your body is still moving at 70mph. You would die from simply decelerating to 0 in 1 second. Cars now adays are designed to crumple so that your body doesn't take that impact. It's still possible to die in another car from decelerating too quickly, but with the smart, theres no room for you NOT to take the impact. It's like karting. Your rib cage is the suspension.

Going from 70 to 0 in one second is only 3.2g. F1 drivers experience up to 5g in braking. While the average driver is not on a comparable level of fitness and training, it's reasonable for an average driver to survive that kind of deceleration.
