My best friend for the past 15 years left atlanta for hollywood, and has since gotten a great job doing special effects for Beowulf, Valkyrie, and this upcoming smurfs movie. Every so often, i'll talk about my thoughts of Hollywood, and he returns the favor.

A few days ago, I was talking about how amazing a film version of the book "Blood Meridian" would be. It is one of the best books of the 20th century, with vivid, powerful characters. He told me it is already in the planning stages!!!!!!

He said people have spitballed different names for the different roles, and I thought those of you that have read Blood Meridian, what are your thoughts? I'm particularly opinionated as to who does (and who doesn't) play The Judge.
