no one can ever do it better than piven, the ari gold character is one of a kind tv classic that will stick around for a while. If they try to put someone else in and pull the same lines, its going to be corny

Where did you hear this from? I also saw an interview last week with the actress who plays Dana Gordon and she says she loved working with Piven.

He makes the show, couldn't imagine it without him but I guess we'll see.

I heard he was going to quit last season because of the problems he had with the cast. Not suprising this is his last season. I can't remember exactly where I heard this but I am a Jeremy Piven fan and have seen most of his movies and his specials and he is a very chill guy. I was suprised at first but this is old news to me.

And he is my favorite character on the show, who knows what happens after he leaves.
