Thread: Top Gear USA Season 1 Episode 7

Well we are nearing the end of Top Gear USA Season 1 and although it might have started off slow the show is getting better and better every episode. I must say I enjoyed the Florida Challenge in the previous episode and the bikers vs crz and car dealership challenge in episode 7. However, Top Gear USA should start differentiating themselves by not copying Top Gear UK challenges such as the bikers vs cars and car vs skiers and they need to get rid of the awkward intro comparing themselves to different shows … we get it.

I've watched each of these hoping to support it but it continues to fall short.
It's now getting the big X from the DVR.

I actually enjoyed the last episode. The used car dealer challenge had a few decent laughs.

is there no video on the linked website or am i slowly getting blind? If anybody has a link to the actual episode, i'd love that. I've seen most of the european episodes and read a lot about the american equivalent, so i'd love to see it.

That challenge was funny. Each episode has become marginally better, more so due to the chemistry appearing more natural between the hosts than the originality or challenges on the show. It's still weird for me to see the three hosts after hearing the Top Gear intro music though, and I think the hosts are playing it too safe with the humor, but Tanner gave it a go poking fun at the British in episode 6(or was it 7? I watched them back to back because I was out of town last week!)

Episode 7 was so boring for me that I fell asleep on the couch before they got to Tim Allen. I'll have to try and see a rerun some time just to see where Tim lands on the board.

I'd like to see Tim on Top Gear UK and really go at it. Maybe he and JC,RH and JM can build something "Home Improvement" style.
