Artistic Talent?
Is being a good artist natural talent? or do you think it is possible to train up to become a really good artist from somebody is is pretty poor at drawing?
Id quite like to be able to draw some good pictures of whatver, may it be cars, scenery, portraits or whatever, however my drawing talent is quite poor but is there anyway that i can train and practice to become a good drawer?
Thanks Louis123

You can always teach yourself to be a good artist, but to draw something that will blow away people is a skill you can not learn.

i have been doing art for a while and am convinced you can build yourself up to be really good. natural talent definitely helps, but work at it and you can be great

there is definitely going to always be a difference between a learned talent and a natural talent. As an artist I would say that you can always go take classes and learn new things, practice every day and get better over time, but if there is a natural talent it will help an artist create their own style early on.
there will always be artists who have insane amazing skills right from the beginning, but for the rest of us it is all about practicing and developing your skills over time
