Default Clash of the Titans - The Movie

Just saw it on Sunday. Thought it was pretty good. It stuck to the original story but changed a few things around a little bit. Good graphics overall. Good movie to watch.

    Post your thoughts as always!

I heard it wasn't that great, but I have to see it for myself.

Not worth the money. Wait to rent.

First, let me say that I like the original. It was fairly true to the Greek myth, and the clay-mation was state of the art in its day.

This new remake was butchered from the start. I dont mind hollywood tweeking stories for remakes, but this is a Greek myth for heaven's sake! To make matters worse, the way they changed the story didnt even flow--most of the changes were for the sake of adding special effect. The story jumps from scene to scene without any explanation of how or why and the plot feels disjointed at times.

Story/plot aside, I felt like the 3D was wasted on this movie. With one exception (Hades' cape) it added nothing to the visual impact of the movie.

If you want a 2 hour, mindless action flick, it fits the bill. If you are expecting a great 3D film, you will be disappointed.

Saw it a few nights ago... it's one of those movies you see once you know?
