Invictus - anybody seen it yet?
I love Eastwood and also all of his films both as actor and director.
This is supposed to great as well!| Some say_ that he's working on his 3rd million since the first 2 didn't work out.

I saw it (it is available in HQ forms all over the net) and it was a good movie. I don't know about great, but definitely good. I think one of the things I liked is it didn't fall in to the trap of making the movie TOO emotional by adding to it. It was simply an accurate representation of what happened and accomplished the feat of being realistic and being touching. A tough thing to do. It didn't go for the extra tears.
It is a recommended watch. You simply cannot go wrong with Morgan Freeman.
Honestly, I think the most poignant part of the film was the simple fact that it acknowledged, socially, that apartheid existed and not that long ago. That in the modern world, it was not only ok, but it was POLICY to segregate and to promote racism, and on the African continent no less. I think it also painted the "Be the change you wish to see in the world" mentality that I try to live by with a much grander brush. That someone who was a political prisoner in a country where he was not considered an equal could rise to power and affect so much change. It was really inspiring in that sense.

Yes. But there is no real way to screw Nelson's story up (or the country's for that matter). Unless they have TERRIBLE accents. lol. Or fake noses.
I was not a huge fan. An okay movie at best."Whatever you're thinking, think bigger." - Tony Hsieh
