Saw it in imax. First imax movie for me.
I liked the movie...curious why Bane sounded like Sean Connery.

I liked it a lot and look forward to watching it again when it comes out on BluRay(ill be first in line to buy).
There were a few things that maybe only because of my expectations were a little let down. 1)Bane's voice needs to be an octave lower(as someone mentioned earlier in the thread they changed his voice). 2)Need to show more of Batman being broken down. The fight section with Bane/Batman was good - but was expecting maybe a few small skirmishes then a full beat-down. 3)The ending was too easily foreshadowed by alfred earlier in the film. 4)Minor - they underplayed the connection of Wayne loosing the one he loved from the Dark Knight.
Other than that I enjoyed it.. I'm thinking of maybe seeing it again in IMax - Any high recommendations to see it in IMax?

I went and saw it a second time in IMAX, at Henry Ford.... the largest IMAX screen in Michigan. It was not a letdown. I always enjoy a movie more the second time, because I can make missed connections and grab everything the movie has to offer.

Saw it twice yesterday, as it was the first day here! I have to watch it again a week later to give a proper opinion, but I have to say it was a great movie by itself, and an immense trilogy as a whole!
Albeit I was a little sad when it ended because batman died, and the saga was ending, I had a breath a relief when Bruce Wayne was shown to be alive!
Definitely my second favorite trilogy second only to the Godfather

I saw it in IMAX and it was ok. Deff not BAD, but imo the first 2 were better. Didnt seem overly long, just kinda slow at times and predictable...

It felt very ordinary to me. For Nolan and Bale ordinary is bad. The first two were much better. I saw this movie twice already and I don't feel compelled to ever see it again. I enjoyed Fast Five more.

I loved it. I saw it a second time and I keep going back and thinking about what I saw. I saw the movie with Techart Dreamer so we basically are on the same point on where the movies will go. Personally, I am excited. I love what Nolan has done. I love the connections from all the movies, all the foreshadowing in the beginning of the movie. It wasn't Alfred that gave away the ending, it was Miranda. When Bruce finds her at her Charity ball, she mentions restoring the balance in Gotham. Ra's Al Ghul said the exact same thing in Batman Begins. Seeing it the second time I picked up on that.
The Dark Knight Rises is indeed just a symbol, as Bruce has said over and over again, Batman is just a symbol. As he tells John Blake, you need to wear a mask (again foreshadowing). Anyone can be Batman, because Batman is the symbol.
In the story Nolan is following, John Blake takes over for Bruce as Batman. Throwing the name Robin at the end really wasn't needed because that only confuses people as to who John Blake actually is. I want to see it a third time at Imax lol, it seems to get better and better.
As far as Bane is concerned, loved the character, but as mentioned earlier, the prologue shown before Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol was not well received because many couldn't hear or understand what he was saying. I would have preferred his voice not to be as loud as it was, but I soon ignored it. I personally think (and hope) that Bane isn't dead. It was too abrupt. He also had the vest on so possibly it saved him, who knows. I just have a feeling he may make another appearance in the Justice League, other Batman movies and maybe even the Man of Steel if they carry a franchise since Bane was a villain in that too.Instagram: nickpsomas

Best trilogy ever known to man. Batman Begins is awesome, TDK is perfect and TDKR is epic, period.
