Style 1 is more unique and fits well in Florida IMO. I'd go for #1.

1 is timeless and looks old world / old money has a better presence. 2 looks like a design in the "new home floor plan" magazines with the faux stucco to match. Don't get me wrong both are VERY NICE my personal taste sits with #1

here's the final product. it's bermuda vernacular architecture. think class, but tropical...but not cheese ball jimmy buffett tropical, more bermuda shorts and aston martins.
