Not to thread jack but I am looking to get a garage built this spring. Few problems I have run into. The garage can only be 40x40 and can not have an upstairs and I have a height limit for the roof. I want atleast 10-12 foot walls so I can put lifts in the garage.
At first I wanted the garage just a 40x40 structure but now I am thinking of making the side that faces the road at an angle so it appears to not be so large.
Sicko if I emailed you some pics of the house and location where I want to put the garage do you think you could help me out?
Let me know
Thanks

This thread has great momentum. I would definitely recommend having someone involved locally so you are meeting codes and compliances. I'm looking forward to what develops here.
If I can help with lifts, storage, and any other industrial requirements, feel free to contact me anytime.

Just Garage Plans
Not the best plans but a good starting point for me. My contractor is currently working on some designs for my garage build this spring. Thanks to my HOA I'm restricted to 26x26 space, 20ft height, and no second floor. I've come to the conclusion in talking to the our board that I'm adding loft to cover half of the interior space. This will be considered storage space, or my furnished man cave.
For those of you with second floor restrictions check your by laws, without outside steps and dormers, a second floor can be considered attic or storage and not a true second floor.
