How would you...
Rather than say if, WHEN you build your dream home/garage, how would you do it? Just write a description of it and see what other members are thinking! I am sure we all have some great ideas and could share them with one another!
A friend and I were thinking this:
A building in either Cali. or Florida since he a music producer. The first floor would be a wide open warehouse for our exotics/boats/other toys etc. The second floor would be divided into wings, each for our own office and a studio for him as well. The third floor would be our custom apartments with roof access to the hot tubs/cabanas and such! Probably a building for 4 so two other friends could get in on this too.
This is several years down the road for us but right now we have this a goal of ours!
What goes through YOUR head when you think of your future home/garage!!!!* A dream is fictional, a goal is possible*

House in Cali, on the beach nothing too big. 100% carbon neutral, solar wind, etc. Then the garage would be adjoining but would be a big warehouse, nice level concrete floor, enough room for 30 cars in two horizontal rows along. 1 row on the left side, 1 row on the right side. Would be pretty high tech with alarms and the like. Would have 2 spaces for wet cars to park and dry off. And of course have lighting that will start at the front and turn on sequentially until you get to the end where the real metal is stored.
If you can't already tell, I care WAY more about the garage than the house. I just need a nice 3-5 bedroom house. I'm sure that the future wife will definitely change that tho lol.

Gotta be 2 places.
One:
- Industrial area
- Either use an old dumped factory or storage building or build a very simple one with one bottom floor and one above. The old one would have to have a brick facade, the new one would be painted black and would have solar cells ontop.
- The outside would be very unprepossessing to the frontend and have some palms etc. in the yard.
- The ground floor would be used as garage/workshop. You would have to drive around the building and would be able to enter it through a one car garage gate.
- Open stairs would lead to the lounge section right above the garage on which you could look down to. A pool table, couches, flat screen and a bar would be here.
- Behind the lounge the living would take place in a huge loft area. Basically just one room, everything opend, almost no walls. Pipes at the ceiling, a big open kitchen, a gym section, two office sections, two bath- and bedrooms plus a wide opened living room section (right next to the kitchen) would lead outside onto the roofgarden.
- I would install a huge sound system that connects the roofgarden, garage and living areas all togather.
- The garage should give about 20 cars enaugh space to park and to work on them.
Two:
A city penthouse. Dont know the City yet. Probably somewhere in Cali.
Who ever played GTA 4 or Max Payne 2 might imagine what kind of penthouses I'm diggin.
| Some say_ that he's working on his 3rd million since the first 2 didn't work out.

I would start with a 4 storey carpark under my house, with central access and one of those cool automated parking systems beginning to crop up in asia.
Then on top i would have a victorian style manor, so ultra old looking on the outside, but on the inside i would have lead filled walls and then ultra high tech technology, some rooms would literally be a room built around a safe where i would keep my watches, guns etc.
House would be in Cali, venice beach area would be fab.
Exterior something like this:

Interiors something like this:
