    Default Tod's gommino driver

Does anyone have any experience with the tod's driver moccasins? I'm thinking about getting a pair but I was wondering about the comfort and durability. I have the suede Ferragammo parigi drivers but they give me blisters after a few hours of use. Same with my full leather pradas. They both have been quite durable though and I was wondering how the tod's compare.

I have many Tod's drivers and a couple Ferragamo parigis and a bunch of prada loafers. I have to say I really like the Prada's and the Ferragamo's. I don't seem to have an issue with any of them but I do find the Tod's really uncomfortable. I went through a phase a few years ago where I seemed to collect the Tod's...they look great but I rarely wear them as they hurt my feet!

I picked up a couple pairs of Tod's Brooklyn penny loafers from their Bal Harbor store. I can't speak on the suede…the leathers are comfortable and durable.
Originally I wanted the Gommini but after seeing them in person and trying them on I soon disliked the lace/string and the sole/dots.

I have a pair and they get dirty SO EASILY. I wore them twice and because it is not a pure rubber sole they look disgusting on the bottom.

I stick to To boot New York and Ferragamo

I have several pairs of the Driving shoes in different colors along with a couple pairs of dress shoes. They are by far the most compfortable shoes I have worn, and also very well made.

I have a few pairs, the problem is there durability. I don't think I will ever buy another pair. Over price compared to Ferragamo interns of build quality and durability.

I have two pairs of Tod's among many other brands including Gucci, LV, Pliner and Boss to name a few.

I find my Tod's to be very comfortable and made with great leather. I agree with what others have said in terms of their durability.

Would I hesitate to buy another pair? Absolutely not. Hope this helps

Tod's are the originators of the driver. Others have since come along and perfected it, but they still make a very solid piece.

I have three pairs of Tod's drivers and I pretty much agree with what others have said. They are excellent in terms of quality, and very comfy....but I only use them for what they were intended for, driving. I don't "wear" them. Put them on, drive, change. Call me particular, but i've had drivers before that I wore all day and night and they didn't last too long. Someone much older than me had to hip me to how they were to be worn. So if you're having problems with durability stop wearing them longer than you should.
