    Default New job - New Suit

    Hey, I just got a new job yesterday which I will be starting after the bank holiday So I'm after a new suit with around a £300-400 spending limit, any ideas of what make/colour? Or if anyone knows of any current offers on please let me know Thanks!

    Congratulations on the new job, but dude, ~98% of the people on here are not in the UK so can't really offer you any meaningful advice. Just go and hit Selfridges in Manchester tomorrow. But £3-400 isn't going to get you much in there tbh.

    Get one custom tailored in Shanghai for about $75. Best suit I've ever bought.

    6foot tall, slim athletic build, its a business to business sales job, so a suit is required for meetings etc.

    Really? I only have one suit and it's black. It's quite a slim fit suit and I've only worn it a handful of times.

    Anyway, I'd say go dark gray too. Maybe pick up a issue of GQ?

    someone posted a website for "semi custom" suits here a while back, it was pretty cool. i wanted to pick one up, try them out, but never got around to do it. prices were around 300-600 bucks, and had some very nice features.
    Paradise 'ain't cheap.
