Anybody use Cafepress/ Zazzle or others on here?
Hey guys, so recently a buddy of mine and I have been designing t-shirts and loungewear, and we were planning on making the clothes and selling them online.
My buddy bailed, and although I understand not only is the clothing business probably one of the hardest but now is not a great time for it either, I still wanted to do something with my designs.
I was shown cafe press and zazzle, which although they take a good portion of the profits, I can post my designs and sell them with no upfront costs. Granted I would have to do all my own advertising and marketing, which is fine.
I was wondering if anyone else has used one of these sites? and if they have had success. I know my designs will sell, as most appeal to girls, and so far the feedback I have gotten was great. But I am wondering if using one of these sites is worth the time or not.
I have looked online at some forums about it and alot of people seem to not like cafepress for their shipping times and quality, but I cant find to much bad press about zazzle.
Your thoughts? any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

cafepress has horrible quality. Just my 02 cents. If you want some credibility as a designer, I suggest starting your own site. Higher up front but more money to you per sale and you can do whatever you want with your site.

yea I would stay away from Cafepress. I can give you the name of a few different sites that do quality work and it would save you some money when you buy in bulk.
