Thread: How often do you polish your shoes?

I was looking for excuses not to do homework and I happen to find my shoe polish for my rockport shoes so I decided to polish them. I got these shoes during Thanksgiving and this is the first time I'm polishing them. How often do/should you polish them? I'll post pics up later.

varies on how often you wear 'em and whatnot.

I wear my dress shoes a couple times each during the week, and I normally polish them once a month. I keep them lightly "buffed" in between actual polishings. I also store them with shoe trees.

I wear mine every week day. Polish once a week and a professional cleaning monthly.

Wow, I didn't expect people to polish them that much. I normally wear these shoes half the week. Looks like I'll need to be polishing them a little more often.

Atleast once a month. I do need to invest in a shoe tree though for my good shoes.

I aim for every 2 weeks. Most of my black shoes need more attention then brown. The heels marks on the inner ankle is my pet peeve.
