Just make sure you get a good tailor.. Ive got some cheap stuff in my closet thats been tailored that still looks better than the off-the-shelf high end stuff.. Tailoring makes the biggest difference in the world. You;ll never get the full benefit of a nice suit without having it fitted correctly. Good luck!

+100. Tailoring does make a difference. I would suggest a jacket; preferably a suit. You can loose the tie and still have the classy look appropriate for the wedding. Single breasted jacket, Slacks with no pleats or cuff, crisp shirt, and a simple loafer should do the trick. See a tailor if time permits.

    Good luck and have fun!

Yup, a jacket will look a lot better with no tie than a shirt and tie with no jacket.. Its a wedding, not happy hour..

I normally wear a full suit to ocassions like this during the cooler months, but I concur with the above - I'd go with a jacket and no tie as opposed to a tie and no jacket.

I prefer a solid navy suit for weddings. And black belt/shoes with that watch.

Depending on your level of risk, you could get a dark suit (black, blue or grey), black loafer, and a shirt close to the color of the fact of your watch. Think more of a light muted green; nothing drastic or obvious at all. Just something with a muted mint color. But thats just me. I don't mind the risk.
