    Default Need help matching colors

Just bought a pair of Pastel Bright Green, Pastel Red, Navy and Light Blue shorts. I need help matching colored shirts with them. Any Ideas?

Well for one, a clean white shirt will go very well with any of those. Navy and red will usually go well together. So navy shirt with the red shorts and visa versa (although a more vintage looking/nantucket red shirt will go better with the navy shorts). Black shirt will go with the light blue shorts but you have to be careful with that look, as it can be a little heavy and take away from the "summer look" of the light blue shorts. Grey will go well with the blue and green as well.

I recommend maybe checking out some of these shirts. They're simple clean and keep the summer look going, while keeping you looking good.

If you have a bright color for a top or a bottom, you'll typically want to offset it with something neutral. Otherwise you would be doing what some in the fashion world term 'color blocking' which isn't a bad thing but can easily be done wrong.

So let's say you have pastel red shorts, you might want to pair it with a simple white/grey T or a linen/cotton button down shirt with rolled sleeves.

If you want to get more adventurous try color blocking or adding some plaids/checks/striped tops with your new shorts.

Experiment with colors but don't go overboard, it puts people off easily if you're screaming for attention.
