Default Good deal? Classic for under 2k.

Found this for sale near my house. Good deal for someone looking for a project? What do you think?

Definitely not, its ALWAYS better to buy a pre-restored car for more money, all the projects will cost more than you think. Plus that thing has nothing on it, I could get that at a junk yard for $200 (no offense). Your looking at like at around $20k for that car, not to mention the IMMENSELY hard task of finding original parts. Go buy a Camaro (1969) fully restored for $19k. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply! Although I expect to spend more to restore a car, and a car like this would probably cost around 25-35,000$ for me since most companies are american and shipping gets more expensive everyday. I had a 69 SS forever and I don't think I'll ever find one for that cheap! I sold mine which wasn't match numbers with a racing engine and didn't have a mint body paint for more than double that! They're in extreme demand here. I'll continue to look around just for fun as I'm already restoring a 57 Bel Air coupe but I'm curious since the market is skyrocketing in the past 24-36 months.
