Thread: Thinking About a Hennessey

Hey all,

Beginning to feel the after-Christmas spirit, and I'm really considering buying a new HPE700 LS9. My friend just got a CTS-V and he loves it, but I'm definitely partial to the Camaro. Before I haul my ass out to take a look at one myself, has anyone on here ever driven one or owned one, and if so what'd you think? Any negative feelings you get about it over time?

Not sure if you've been in regular Camaro or not, but when I test drove a SS I was very let down by the interior. Uncomfortable steering wheel and awkward shift knob, not to mention the visibility was like wearing horse blinders. Your money can be better spent IMO. The CTS-V coupe is at least worth checking out. But if you love the Camaro, that kit sure is wild! Haven't driven one personally, but it looks intense.

Thank you for your inquiry. We look forward to working with you in the near future on a LS9 Camaro, one of our most limited vehicles we build. As boostedM mentioned, go sit in the stock Camaro and make sure that you are ok with that because if there is something on the stock car you don't like, we will want to make sure we are able to correct or improve it with our build. With the HPE700 Build, we are going to be changing every aspect of the vehicle with the exception of the interior. If you would like to have a custom interior done, we can assist you with that as well.

To better assist you, could you mention where you are located? I'd like to see if I have a LS9 HPE700 in your area and get you in touch with an owner of one. As previously mentioned, these are very limited edition vehicles with less than 48 on the streets today but we are here to assist you in getting all the details needed to make a good decision.
