920 horsepower Formula Firebird
This car was one hell of a sleeper!
Here are the specs:
'88 Pontiac Formula Firebird
400 cid SBC with a single 76mm turbo
920 hp and 910 ft-lbs at 18 psi boost (engine dyno)
T56 trans with Strange Engineering 12 bolt rear axle
Formula 43 RAD14 18" 3 piece wheels (made in Livonia Michigan)
Bilstein shocks/struts; Hotchkis & BMR suspension bits

Nice video again Chris! Hoping I can set my Katech Z aside for a couple yrs soon and turn my 88 Iroc into something exactly like this car. I remember reading about this car in GM hi-tech and the guy worked at GM. I am going to have to look him up in the system and try to catch up with him sometime soon. That car is bitchin.

Thanks Matt! Yep, this car was featured in that magazine fairly recently. I've learned at Cars & Coffee not to ignore cars that look "normal." I've been surprised enough times.

An '88 Iroc would definitely be a sleeper with this kind of power, you'd be embarrassing other car out there!

Whats the second car? Don't believe I've ever seen one of those. Also, nice sleeper. Love the interior!
