Spied: 2013 Ford Mustang GT
New details of the latest Mustang GT have become apparent courtesy of these spy shots.
The upcoming 2013 Ford Mustang GT has been spied testing at an undisclosed location and there are a few noteworthy exterior and cosmetic changes from the current model.For one there's a new front fascia that sees the fog lights moved from the grille to the lower front bumper fascia. In addition (and what most Mustang fans will notice almost immediately) is that the legendary pony emblem has moved to the driver's side of the grille and appears on a red, white and blue striped badge.

New headlights are also apparent and feature some LED piping, while there's also a front lip spoiler reminiscent of the GT500, a grille opening, and at the rear can be seen a new trunk-lid-mounted wing and revised bumper.

If you've used the new Ford Mustang Customizer app from Ford then you'll notice that there's several different types and places you can put the front emblem. That's also true with the fog lights. That's what I'm assuming will be true with the new 2013 model. You'll be able to customize everything in a ton of different ways.

The trunk mounted spoiler was an option last year. I have one. Its the old California special package.
I have ran out of room for watches, Im now going to collect cars...

Cali Special is all that is with the front facisa and spoiler.

No, on the 2011 Cali Special it comes with trunk lid mounted wing, side scoops (behind doors) , rear side louvered windows covers , large hood scoop. Front splitter on bottom comes from the GT 500. Originally Posted by Mason2013

Just to update you guys.I have read recently that Ford already unleashed the 2013 Shelby GT Mustang, and the 650-horsepower beast will do 200 miles an hour. Well,the technology offered in its class is far superior.Great job Ford! I've read the stuff in this article:Horsepower arms race is on with 2013 Ford Shelby GT Mustang Oh well,I can't wait to see it before my eyes!
