Looking for a truck and need your help. Dodge Ram VS Chevy Silverado
I am looking at buying a Truck
I cannt decide if I should get a Ram or a silverado.
I need a truck that has 4wd because of the snow in the winter and it should be able to tow stuff around.
Both look sick to me. I just need to know which one is better mechanically.
All opinions well seen.
Also I plan on gettin a petrol engine. Hemi or not?

Chevy 100% if gas powered. Longer lasting and the interior will not fall apart. Best advice I can give.

I have owned a few of both Chevy and Dodge and would go with Chevy. This is my current Chevy, but I never drive it because gas mileage sucks. I would go with diesel for the better gas mileage, especially if you plan on lifting it.

I have had several of both.
Right now I have a 3500 Dodge Diesel, 2500 Chevy Silverado and an Escalade EXT, which is basically a Chevy. If you are going to tow I would go diesel al the way.

OP stated he was buying a gasser. Not a diesel. I'd recommend a diesel as well, but he wants gas. That being said, stick to Chevy/GMC.

i have a dodge ram 1500 quad cab and love it. sure, the diesel would have been nice, but at $12k more? it depends on what you plan on towing.
