This build is so cool!
"When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car."

Well, here is what those of you with the TCI kit have to look forward to. You are going to need to cut the firewall and transmission tunnel for clearance. I know the TKO 5 speed transmissions are taller than the t-56 6 speed units, so if you are using one of those units, you probably wont need to raise the tunnel as much. However, there is no getting around cutting the firewall/upper trans tunnel for bellhousing clearance.
The engine and transmission are in.
I notched the crossmember about another 3/4-1" an inch inward. I had to use a 20 pound sledge hammer to get the metal to bend inward.

Then the real fun began. I tried to just cut a little of the upper trans tunnel/firewall at first, but it was a no go. The bellhousing needed more clearance. Then, once the transmission was going into place, i realized that i couldnt just bend the tunnel upward and that it needed to be removed completely so that i can raise the height of the tunnel all the way around.

I took out the upper middle portion of the trans mount crossmember support to provide more clearance.

Here is how much the tunnel needs to be raised with the transmission and engine sitting at the correct angle.

While i had the grinder out, i decided to remove the lip from the cowl panel and cut out the raised gas tank cap area. I am going to flip the portion i cut out upside down and recess it into the body. The plan is to go for the look the 1st generation viper GTS coupes have.

This is how high the engine must be raised in order to clear the shroud.

Clearance issues with the master cylinder. This is a 1995 Mustang Cobra brake master cylinder, same as the one i have in the other car, but it doesnt even come close to clearing. I guess i will look into hydroost kits.

Here is another issue. I am not sure if i received the correct crossmember or not. If this is correct, then i am going to need to have a spacer made to go in-between the mount and transmission.
