Thanks for the nice comments. I ordered the off white high temp header and sidepipe coating today. I know that most do not care for the painted pipes, but since the car had white pipes in the movie, that is the plan. The fake pipes that were on the car when i bought it actually looked really good in white.
I am wrapping up some loose end with the wiring, no pun intended, installing the footbox vent system, going back over the suspension bolts, and painting the door hinges and some of the other small parts black that currently have the exterior color on them.
Im also waiting on a new oil cooler, smaller air bleeds for the carburetor, throttle linkage busing, a new aeromotive in line fuel pressure gauge, and a few other small parts. The summit racing fuel pressure gauge that i bought broke, the air bleeds are too large that are in the custom quickfuel carb, and I royally screwed up and put the wrong fittings in the brand new $190.00 Setrab oil cooler, which destroyed the threads and bent some of the fins. I just reused the fittings from the busted oil cooler that came with the car and was dumb enough to assume that they were ok. That was a mistake. I guess i was having an off day and it just slipped by me.

Official run video. Some small things to fic here and there, but the car is pretty much finished. The engine will have a turkey pan installed, but it is not on currently for tuning purposes. ONce everything is dialed in just right i will install the pan.
The header gaskets arent installed yet, so you will hear a slight tick. It is just a small leak around two of the header tubes.

Awesome car. I've always had a soft spot for Cobras - grew up around them. My uncle has owned many, including 289s and various 427 iterations (including an SC that he and my Dad "streeterized" in 1971).
Love the big block, and in the color Cobras are supposed to be: BLUE.beLOW
GS4/NSX/MR2 turbo/Odyssey/Fiat 124 Sedan/Catalina 375

It went to the dyno last week. 515 foot pounds of torque to the rear wheels on a mustang dyno.
It is at the alignment shop currently and i just got the hood back from the painter today. Just a few more hours of work left and it will be ready to break in for 500 miles before it goes up for sale. I would love to keep it, but it looks like i will be moving soon and i have my plate full with the mustangs. That and this car is simply terrifying and scares the crap out of me.
