    Default 67 Mustang with 2003 4.6L Terminator

I've shared this thread on a few other forums, but thought some of you would like to see it here.
1967 mustang fastback purchased in Spring of 2008. Bodywork started in late 08 and then modifications were made to engine compartment etc, starting in 09 when the 4.6L terminator motor was purchased.

    suspension and brakes installed

Floor pans Sprayed with Lizard Skin

    Side stripes applied

Taillamps and back up lights installed

    April 18th 2010.

    Wiring from The Detail Zone

The wiring was very straightforward. The wires are labeled and all that is required to find the number on the wire, connect it to the appropriate sensor, run it to the panel, add the connector, and match it to the number on the panel. Good stuff. Ron francis and the detail zone make really nice wiring products

I modified the stock dash bezel with a dremel tool to accept an aftermarket receiver. This particular receiver does not have a cd player, but instead holds an ipod or i phone and plays the music through that device. I used a hidden antenna mounted under the dash for the AM/FM. Surprisingly, even though it is mounted under the metal dash and the pad, it works incredibly well.

Shelby Gauge Cluster-i hope they work

Shelby seat covers from the Unique Auction, which i paid entirely too much for , but i am still glad i purchased them.

    Shelby Pedal Covers

Hydraulic clutch MC from Modern Drive Line and the 95 cobra master cylinder.

Oil pressure sensor installed. This was easy, the reducer that came with the gauge kit threaded right into the stock sensor location.

This is the point where i stopped and took the car to Dave Stribling Restorations to have the shock towers notched further back, the intercooler, radiator, reservoirs, etc installed, and have Dave custom fit the headers. We used the RRS notching kit, which probably would have been fine, but the first shop installed it incorrectly-they did not follow the templates i provided.

2003 Mustang Radiator and fan installed.

AC condensor from old air products. This is a great system and they really take pride in manufacturing high quality systems

    Aftercooler AFCO double pass

09 CobraJet EGR Block off plate. It looked like it would fit, so i ordered it. Glad that it does.

Shock Towers notched further back for more clearance-total waste of time and money. If you are going to do this type of conversion, use a suspension like the TCI system that eliminates the towers

The engine mount supports had to be notched for exhaust header clearance.

The Ford Racing Driver's side exhaust header had to be cut and rewelded to clear the TCP power steering rack.

Engine compartment repaint. I decided to go with black for a better contrast since the engine is gray.

This car must sound so good with that supercharger screaming, very cool project. You have to respect this kind of dedication to what some would consider 'just a mustang.'

And this is the current condition- 5/26/11. The computer i purchased off of fleabay was dead, so the chip is currently being reprogrammed for another unit and will be mailed out this afternoon. It should arrive next week and then the first start can be attempted again.
